Students from the Kawasaki City High School for Science and Technology visited the center on July 29.

Students from Kawasaki City High School for Science and Technology visited the center on Friday, July 29.

Through the visit the students were able to increase their interest in scientific knowledge, and were able to envision their futures working at research institutes and as researchers.

The students visited the Confocal Microscope Room and Machining Room, and were able to experience and observe facilities and equipment that they usually do not come into contact with. They listened attentively to the research associates’ explanations, and actively asked questions.

The students, who are also aspiring researchers, response was positive. They were happy to be able to take part in a valuable experience, making it a very fruitful visit.
