”King Skyfront Summer Science Event 2016,” organized by Kawasaki City, was held on Tuesday, August 9.

There were five event venues and 25 booths set up in King Skyfront, and approximately 900 visitors, comprised of mostly of elementary school children, made it to the event.

Over 150 people participated in the two activities that were organized for the event, which were “Experience Nanomachines!” and “The Clean Room Experience - Become a Scientist and Enter a Special Laboratory!”

“Experience Nanomachines!” encouraged visitors to learn more about medical treatment using nanomachines, as well as actually making models. At “The Clean Room Experience - Become a Scientist and Enter a Special Laboratory!” visitors were able to enter spaces that are usually off-limits, to observe experiments and take commemorative photos.

This year’s summer event was also a success, with children and their parents alike enjoying their day out.
