Students from Ohyu Gakuen Girl's Junior and Senior High School visited the center on July 14.day

Students from Ohyu Gakuen Girl's Junior and Senior High School visited the center on Thursday, July 14 for a workplace visit.

The students visited the Magnet Area, Confocal Microscope Room and Machining Room, and observed actual cells in the Microscope Room. They were able to experience and observe facilities and equipment that they usually do not come into contact with, and listened attentively to the research associates’ explanations.

The students gave the following responses: “My interest in nanomachines has greatly deepened.” / “I had an interest in chemistry, however I was able to experience its wonder and fascination more than ever before.” / “After observing these research associates on the international cutting-edge of medicine, I wanted to become a researcher too.” They were able to take part in a valuable experience, and it was a very fruitful visit.
