【Visitors in April】Taiwan National Changhua Senior High School and National War College, US visited.
On Tuesday, April 10, 12 students and three teachers of Taiwan Changhua Senior High School visited iCONM as part of “The 9th Japanese Science and Culture Research Trip 2018”. Mr. Iwasaki, Vice-Director introduced iCONM and COINS project and Dr. Quader, Senior Research Scientist explained about the research outlines. Furthermore, Dr. Yu-Lin Su from National Tsing Hua University who has been doing his research at iCONM for one year introduced his research.There was an active question and answer session afterwards.
On Thursday, April 26, a group of 16 members from National War College, US visited iCONM as last year. They were 13 students learning the international biotechnology industry and 3 faculty members. They selected our center as one of the visiting places in their one week trip to Japan. First, Dr. Hiromichi Kimura, COINS Project Leader, gave outline of medical innovation in Japan and COINS project and then, Dr. Kinoh, Principal Research Scientist and Dr. Ueno, Deputy Principal Scientist, explained about the research conducted in COINS. Moreover, Dr. Sabina Quader took them around the laboratories. The group were very much interested in our research and there were very active discussion and Q&A.
