【Visitors in September】House of Representative member, Mr. Daishiro Yamagiwa, a board member of Bank of Japan, members of University of Twente and Director-General of MEXT, Mr. Hiroki Matsuo visited iCONM.
On Monday, September 3, House of Representative member, Mr. Daishiro Yamagiwa visited iCONM as a part of his study trip to King SkyFront. Mr. Iwasaki, Vice Director made a brief outline of project research and facilities of iCONM and COINS. A variety of questions were asked about the system for using the facilities and equipment in the machine tool room.

On Wednesday, September 5, Mr. Gohshi Kataoka, council member of Bank of Japan and Mr. Shinmi, manager of Yokohama branch visited iCONM. Mr. Iwasaki, Vice-Director made a brief outline. There were Q&A session afterwards and followed by lab.

On Wednesday, September 2, members of University of Twente visited iCONM as a part of ’Kaizen Study Tour’. First, Dr. Anne Paalvast from University of Twente gave a speech and Dr. Kazunori Kataoka, Director General made outline of research contents of iCONM and COINS. Followed by oral presentations of Dr. Quader, Dr. Gonzalez, Dr. Uchida and Dr. Ueno. There were very active discussions after the oral presentation. Afterwards, the members were divided into three groups and did lab. Tour.
