On Friday, March 8, forty students of 2nd year from Kawasaki High School Affiliated Junior High School visited research institutes where cutting edge research is conducted as part of their career education. They visited King Skyfront with the aim of increasing interest in scientific knowledge, and to be able to image themselves in the laboratory as a researcher in the future.

First, Mr. Iwasaki, vice-director of iCONM gave outline of our center and research contents. After that the students were divided to two groups and looked around the laboratories in the building.

As this is their first time to look around the laboratories, the students were very keen to look at the equipment and the facility with interest. In the last question and answer session, questions about the cost of nanomachines and the final form in the body continued and continued so that the time was almost not enough.

In questionnaire after their visit, there were surprise and expectant voice for Kawasaki City where used to be an industrial area is now conducting cutting edge research in medical field and research content of iCONM.

We hope this visit will be one of the motives for the students to make it as a goal to become researcher in the future.
