On November 8th, Mr. Kazunori Kataoka, Director of the Center, received the Kawasaki City Social Merit Award for this fiscal year. This recognition honors his continuous efforts, from the establishment of the cluster to the present, in disseminating world-class research achievements from Tonomachi KING SKYFRONT, a symbol of Kawasaki City's coastal area. His contributions have been instrumental in earning numerous international awards and promoting the development of an industrial city in Kawasaki's coastal region. At the award ceremony held on November 8th, Deputy director Mr. Nagai received the certificate of commendation on behalf of the director, who was on an overseas business trip, from Mayor Fukuda.
