CHANGE PV Story
A mysterious story begins in a quiet hospital room… 🎬
Kaoru (played by Kaoru Sakata) rushes to the hospital after hearing that her father (Toshio Sato), living alone, has been admitted. When she opens the door to his room, she finds a nurse (Miyako Tonomachi) checking his vitals.

Relieved to see her father looking healthier than expected, Kaoru’s comfort is short-lived—the diagnosis is chronic heart failure. From now on, he will need home care, including meal management, weight monitoring, and rehabilitation. For Kaoru, an office worker living apart from her father, the reality is daunting.

Then, her father hands her a peculiar pair of glasses, calling them a “family heirloom passed down through generations.” Half skeptical, Kaoru puts them on—and something unexpected happens. From an apricot in the fruit basket she brought, a mysterious fairy named Care-La suddenly appears. Care-La has the magical ability to hear people’s “inner voices.”

With Care-La’s help, Kaoru learns the thoughts of the nurse. She discovers the hidden pressures of a society facing declining birthrates, an aging population, and the growing burden on healthcare workers.
The story turns toward the future through the national project CHANGE (JST COI-NEXT Kawasaki), where Dr. Kanda, an engineering researcher, explores new forms of medical care and caregiving.
Family bonds, the future of healthcare, and a magical companion—Care-La—come together in this story. A tale of the future of care, beginning with a single family. ✨
