Functional nano-micelles with optimal drug release depending on the c-Myc expression level

Kawasaki Institute of Industrial Promotion Innovation Center of NanoMedicine developed functional nano-micelles with optimal drug release depending on the c-Myc expression level.
This was collaborative research with Department of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, Graduate School of Medicine and Faculty of Medicine, The University of Tokyo (Professor: Tatsuya YAMASOBA) Research group of Dr. Yu MATSUMOTO and Department of Bioengineering, Graduate School of Engineering the University of Tokyo (Head: Ryo MIYAKE) Research group of Dr. Horacio CABRAL. A press seminar was held.

The contents of this research were published in ACS Nano (IF = 14.588 in 2019).

At the press seminar held online on Thursday, February 18, Dr. Kazunori Kataoka, Director General, Innovation Center of NanoMedicine, Dr. Hiroaki Kinoh, Principal Research Scientist, Kataoka/Kinoh Lab., Innovation Center of NanoMedicine, Dr. Hitoshi Shibasaki, Department of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, Graduate School of Medicine and Faculty of Medicine, The University of Tokyo took the rostrum, and there were the deep, enthusiastic and passionate discussions with journalists in science section, the general paper and biotech journals.
