【Visitors in July】Second grade students from Kawasaki City High School for Science and Technology、Elementary schools in Kawasaki City isited iCONM.

On Monday, July 26, 38 second grade students from Kawasaki City High School for Science and Technology visited the institutions at King SkyFront.
Mr. Iwasaki, Vice Director gave presentation on the research project and explained the project outline with a virtual lab. tour instead of an actual lab. tour.

There were feedbacks from the participating students such as:
“I didn’t know there is a cutting-edge research that can change the whole world is going on in my neighbor.
“It was interesting that what seem unrealistic are not unrealistic such as ‘In-body hospitals’ and ‘Nanomachines’.
“I was surprised that ‘Nanomachine’ was not a small machine like I have imagined.”
It was a short visit, however it was a very good opportunity for us to give students of Kawasaki city knowledge about our center and let them get interested in our research. We hope one day they will join our research team as a scientist.

As King Sky Front and iCONM are introduced in the supplementary reading material "Kawasaki" of the elementary school in Kawasaki City, it was a good opportunity for the teachers to understand the various institutions at King SkyFront and for the students to recognize the research environment.
