The 10th Cross Cultural Event Held
On July 25th (Monday), we held an exchange event via Zoom for foreign researchers and Japanese researchers and staff affiliated with iCONM. This event was organized as a joint initiative by the iCONM Management Department and the COINS Office, but with the conclusion of the COINS project, it will now be held starting from the 2022 fiscal year for everyone using iCONM, aiming to promote active internal communication.
This time, we had Jesus Garcia, an internship student from the UIC Barcelona in Spain, who presented on the topic "Let's go for a walk around Barcelona!" He introduced Barcelona in English, serving as a tour guide to showcase the city's architecture, cuisine, and streets, using maps and photos. We enjoyed a brief virtual tour. After the presentation, there was a lively exchange of questions and comments, making it a fun time to learn about different cultures. We hope that this will foster even more interaction across languages and professions.
