The 17th Cross Cultural Event Held
On June 17, we hosted an online exchange event for foreign researchers and Japanese researchers and staff affiliated with iCONM. This event aimed to promote active cross-cultural exchange among all individuals utilizing iCONM.
The speaker for this event was Ms. Hannah Beauseroy, a visiting student from Bordeaux University. Her presentation, titled "The Essence of France in Short: History, Politics, and Culture," lasted about 30 minutes and felt like a delightful journey through France, much to the enjoyment of the audience. France captivates not only with famous tourist attractions like the Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame Cathedral but also with its beautiful natural landscapes, garnering many fans among the Japanese. Hannah introduced the multifaceted nature of France from a French perspective, likening it to a tapestry that weaves together history, culture, and politics, while also mentioning similarities with Japan.
After the presentation, numerous questions were raised, reflecting the audience's strong interest and enthusiasm for France. This event provided an opportunity to discover new charms of France.
