The 20th Cross Cultural Event Held
On October 4, we hosted an online cross-cultural exchange event between foreign researchers and Japanese staff. This event was aimed at iCONM staff, facility users, and stakeholders from Kawasaki City and the Kawasaki Institute of Industrial Promotion (KIIP), with the goal of effectively managing the organization’s rich diversity and leveraging the innovative ideas that emerge from it.
This time, Hana Kinoshita, an intern from KIIP and a student at the Global Business Professional University, introduced the attractions of her hometown, Aomori. She provided a broad overview of Aomori's charm, discussing the various dialects within the region, the Sannai-Maruyama Ruins, the stunning natural scenery of the Shirakami-Mountains and Oirase Valley, local delicacies such as Miso Milk Curry Ramen, and the traditional Aomori Nebuta Festival. Kinoshita-san received training on creating effective promotional flyers to enhance visitor engagement and learned PR strategies through this event preparation.
