Scientists of Institute Technology Bandung Visit Our Institute
On April 1, Prof. Heni Rashmawati and Dr. Fitriani Jati Rahmania from Institute Technology Bandung (Indonesia), a partner institution of iCONM, visited our facility. The institute is one of Indonesia’s leading universities in science and engineering, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with iCONM in 2018. The School of Pharmacy is particularly focused on strengthening international collaboration in the fields of nanomedicine and drug delivery, and is actively seeking partnerships with Japanese research institutions.
Going beyond mere research collaboration, both parties shared a recognition of the importance of human resource development and intellectual exchange, including mutual exchanges of researchers and students, joint supervision, and the promotion of international joint research projects. Furthermore, it is expected that by building a global research network, the insights and technologies possessed by both institutions will complement each other, leading to the creation of more advanced research outcomes.
Moving forward, we aim to establish a sustainable partnership by setting specific joint research themes and developing exchange programs. Through these efforts, we expect to advance collaboration that not only promotes the development of nanomedicine in both countries but also contributes to the societal implementation of these results and the resolution of medical challenges.
