On Feb. 26 – 28, 2017, the Innovation Center of NanoMedicine (iCONM) in Kawasaki City’s KING SKYFRONT will host the 11th Annual Symposium on Nanobiotechnology 2017.

This symposium will act as a platform for challenging discussion regarding cutting edge research in nanotechnology and its applications in the areas of biology and medicine. The event will cover the scientific interdisciplinary field of nanobiotechnology, which encompasses an extremely diverse range of physical sciences, life sciences and medicine. The symposium will foster the exchange of ideas, techniques and experiences in this exciting field, and will include talks from world-renowned scientists as well as contributions from young researchers who will be given the opportunity to present talks and posters.

The symposium was initiated in 2007 by the California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI) at UCLA and the Center for NanoBio Integration (CNBI) at The University of Tokyo. Since then, it has expanded to include distinguished research institutions in Europe and Asia. In Feb. 2016 - during the 10th Annual Symposium on Nanobiotechnology held at CNSI - UCLA, CNSI and iCONM signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), a fruitful interaction between cutting-edge research institutions.

We are honored to host the 11th Annual Symposium on Nanobiotechnology 2017 at iCONM, Kawasaki, Japan.
