Research Outline
We are developing the theranostic system, which combines nanomachines and medical equipment. We are focusing on the development of nanomachines integrated with targetable and environment-sensitive functionalities that can allow functional imaging of the diseased sites with improved sensitivity and resolution. Also, we are working on the development of minimally invasive treatment system (chemical surgery) by combining nanomachines carrying sensitizers and medical equipment. Our goal is to realize effective disease treatment based on diagnostic imaging and outpatient care without hospitalization.
