    【News】 The team led by University of Tokyo Project Associate Professor and COINS Theme 3 leader Keiji ITAKA’s research on achondroplasia was highlighted in an article published in Nikkei Business Daily (P. 8).
    The title was “Disease that causes bones to not develop treated with gene therapy at UTokyo. Genes transferred into patients' cells."

    【Press Release】 Feb. 15, 2016: A press conference was held regarding the research paper published in Nature Nanotechnology titled "Vascular bursts enhance permeability of tumour blood vessels and improve nanoparticle delivery") by Dr. Yu Matsumoto, Assistant Professor, Department of Otolaryngology, The University of Tokyo Hospital (COINS participating researcher), Dr. Tatsuya Yamasoba, Professor, Department of Otolaryngology, The University of Tokyo Hospital and Dr. Kazunori Kataoka, Professor, Graduate School of Engineering / Graduate School of Medicine (Director General, Innovation Center of NanoMedicine / Research Leader, COINS).
    They discovered a new tumor vasculature permeating route that increases the efficiency of DDS (Drug Delivery System) towards fighting cancer.
